About Dave

Since 2003, I’ve designed professionally in an advertising agency, in a large corporate web team, and independently. I’ve received regional, national, and international top honors from Adobe Systems, Inc., the W3 Awards, and the American Advertising Federation.

Currently, I’m a senior user experience designer for Ellucian. I work within the user experience design team in support of Ellucian’s products and software for the higher education market. I create wireframes, high-fidelity visual concepts, and front-end HTML5 and CSS3 markup in an agile development environment.

Visual Design

I have expertise in many aspects of user experience design, web design and graphic design, with exceptional abilities in visual identity, logo and brand development. I can articulate and translate ideas into something that will stand apart from competitors, connect with audiences, and increase business.

Front-end Development

In addition to turning ideas into an effective visual concept, I can produce a polished, cross-platform compatible and functional website using the latest web standards. I create custom-built web experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile screens using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and the jQuery framework.
